yeah I guess I'll stick the old dell back on the network on general
principles --  it has a floppy drive, very little memory, very little hard
drive space by today's standards and nothing much installed on it -- I
suppose it's about capable of sharing it's floppy drive and sitting there
expectantly waiting for some other system to wander by and  use it :-)
