An example from real-life:
I currently pull 10 newsgroups. I've been running for one day since I last
rebooted (I messed up while programming, and blue-screened my machine,
forcing a reboot).

Hamster Playground shows that I've pulled approximately 28MB of data.

So, for moderately active newsgroups, you can expect about 3MB per
newsgroup per day, rounding up.
