I thought the codices for Audio/Video were internal to MPC as MPC is just an
exe. I had problems on my previous system with Nero Show Time playing
video, but, MPC played it perfectly independently to any other codices on my
system. I'm beginning to hear a few other people having problems with the
latest version of MPC so I may step back a version and see what happens.
Meanwhile I've reinstalled Nero and Show Time is playing perfectly, but, I'd
prefer to use MPC as it is much less of a resource hog and normally less
goes wrong with it.

Am running DirectX 9.0c and haven't noticed any problems except this DVD
disk play on MPC.
