The stufff below is the whole report after spamcop processing and b4
sending.
For my own information since I can't find an abuse.net at toast.net [my ISP]
to CC: abuse copies to I just posted a mail I posted to a yahoo group that
came back to me.

I suspect there's something real wrong here.

postmaster at toast.net <--- the only real possibility for real tracking. This
is the abuse Sam spade returns when I enter my email into the abuse scan.

{
mail-abuse at yahoo-inc.com
postmaster at yahoo.com
postmaster at mail03.toast.net
abuse at yahoogroups.com
abuse at level3.net
spamtool at level3.net

whole bunch of extra possibilities from the message, but nothing I can find
to even consider abuse at genuity.net

}

Just exactly what and how did spamcop arrive at abuse at genuity.net as the
one's handling toast.nets or yahoo groups abuse ?

Looks to me like a post from a level3 (who borged genuity) dial up pop which
toast.net is using for their dial-up customers to a yahoo group. That IP was
apparently in use by/assigned to/authenticate-to toast.net. The user at that
IP posted to a yahoo group, which you are apparently subscribed to, and
yahoo sent the post to you/your toast.net account.

In any case, list traffic is not to be reported using SC unless you are the
owner/moderator of the list/group. The owner/moderator is responsible for
spam sent to a maillist/group. If you did not voluntarily subscribe to the
group then you need to let yahoo know about that.
