If you continue to get the same virus from the same network, then you know 
it didn't work. I've even called Covad support on the phone because I 
didn't even know if they were getting my reports (or reading them, for that 
matter).
I really don't care about viruses, but I'm happy to take part in shutting 
off another infected Windows machine. Often the same machines are 
Zombified.
