[SC-Help] Spammers getting smarter?

I noticed that Spammers seem to have found a way around the block image 
feature of Outlook Express in Windows XP SP2.  The images are loading and 
there are attachments with nearly all the spam involved now.  It is not 
Microsoft's fault either.  Some Spam with Images is still blocked.  Do you 
know how to open these e-mails without notifying the Spammers that it was 
opened?  I am getting bombarded with spam now and I had it fairly under 
control for awhile.  Now its picking up, like 15 or more a day when it used 
to be around 6 or less!  I know they must be knowing that I opened them.
