And there are no plugins to improve on the default?

I dislike OL for wasting my precious screen real-estate, which is
why I'm back to using Pine via IMAP on my office mailbox. I've never
even seen recent versions of OE, but I always though OE had the edge on
OL when it came to Internet features like dealing with headers.

FWIW, I think SpamAssassin would be powerful enough to express the
condition that the OP wanted to check for. I think that's available as a
plugin for OE, no?
