That's the unfortunate side effect.  Especially if you read
with google.

I just run hamster as a local news spool and decide myself
what to do with the server cache.  Side effect is it makes
reading much faster.  Downside is it's a server and therefore
takes a copy of everything you don't have set in the filters.
