I have a paid email/reporting account. There are two servers:
I log into the email server to get/sort/read my email.
I have to log into the reporting server (completely different interface)
in order to report spam. It uses the same login ID and password, but
requires a separate login. Somehow, when you change your password on the
email server, the reporting server gets a copy so it "knows" your
password. I am guessing that this is how it works, but somehow, the
reporting server does "know" your password even though you reset it only
from the email server. Somewhere, that process got messed up.
I did give up, sort-of, and changed my PW back to the original and now it
works again.
