I had forgotten what the OP's original problem was a month ago.

That thread started out confusing me and then later I turned it into the
newsgroup beef. Somewhere the business about blackholes.us being out of
commission came up, but in general that was mostly an argumentative
thread.

The forum topic 5285 which started about this Wednesday is also a thread
which has some friction going on.

The OP in 5285 whose handle there is mshalperin is contending that the
vast majority of his spam is being filtered by SA and not the
blocklists. But, then his contention temporarily turned into some doubt
that anything reported ever became SCbl/ed and Steve U's revelation of
SC's usage of SA first instead of the blocklists was new to me.

Clearly mshalperin's spams are almost all SA blocked, not by blocklists,
which is a very different experience than my own observations and
filtration

I don't use SC mail, but my own spamfilter SpamPal has similarities to
the SC mail configuration of many, because I use numerous blocklists
which are available to SC mail users and I also use country blocks,
which is employed differently by my SP than blackholes.us, and I also
use a body regex plugin filter which could be compared to SA.

My point is that my spam filtration 'catches' or positives are
completely different from mshalperin's. The vast majority of my spams
are caught by my blocklists and a larger minority is caught by country
filters than the regex filter [compare to SA] on the body.

As a separate issue from the discussion of the nature of mshalperin's
filter positives, for some reason or another, WazoO and Keith Jillings
and mshalperin don't seem to get along.
