reportid munge seen again with one less x. The reportid currently has
10 decimal digits.

The xxxxxxxx above munged out the reportid number.

The report email from SC to the provider uses the reportid as the
username of the From/Reply-To. That is a mechanism for the provider to
respond^1 to the reporter who has been one-way 'anonymized' by the
report process. The provider emails the reportid username of the
reporter at the reports.spamcop.net address which spamcop handles by
forwarding it to the reporter who corresponds to the reportid.

Only SC knows which reporter corresponds to the reportid username, and
SC also knows the email address of that reporter to be able to forward
the report.

Altho' we are discussing some partial and munged headers, those headers
correspond to an email which not only is addressed to the reporter
corresponding to the reportid, but the mail would also contain a link to
the tracker of the item which was reported.

In addition, the reportid itself can be 'converted' or used to access^2
the tracker, but only by the logged in reporter of the reportid.

with the person who filed the complaint?
