Nah, that'd be way too much work for the avg. spammer. The common
assumption is that the string of numbers is added by their spam
spew-ware so that each message has a unique subject line (granted, most
of the line is identical ...but not the entire line). Some ISP's filter
multiple mails with identical subject lines, so this is an attempt to
defeat the filter so the spam gets thru.
