It could tell them who you are. It could identify which list you are on.
It could identify which mail run you were in. It could identify which
sub-spammer got you to respond. It could identify which bulker handled that
bit of trash. Who knows?
If it worries you, you can trim it out, or better yet, change it by a few
digits, say from 30957 to 30975. Let the spammer worry about why that number
seems funny. ;->
