Yeah, smirk. I know. They got my attention when they started blocking
my DNS requests. Ya hear that spammers!? Don't play games like this or
you will become my #1 priority.

Just talked to chris @ internap where they had their webservers most
recently. He says they are nuked for good from that network. No chance
of signing up with a different alias. We'll see.

Also talked to ? (chris also?) at level3. Level3 is doing some really
stupid things, and the abuse folks there don't like it any more than we
do. Chris was totally frustrated and said (in not so many words) that
she thought they should have been nuked already. But they aren't.
Level3 is making them sign a "letter of understanding" stating they
won't violate the AUP again. If they do, they get 24 hours to pack up
their toys and go home. Way too lax given their history. They shold
have been nuked long ago. This decision comes down from management, and
the abuse people don't understand or agree with it. Another big, black
mark for level3.

Which brings me to:

Absolutely. I'll be happy to help in any way I can.

Good idea. I got the same advice from Alan Brown. I never knew how to
set this up until now. Learn something new every day. Spamcop seems to
be avoiding the blockade just fine now. I have a request in with AOL to
see if I can forward requests through their dns if need-be. We'll see
what they say about that. I may also contact uunet about using their
servers. I'm not going to use any servers I'm not authorized to use of
course.

Well, I have some ideas about how they could figure out which servers
I'm using, but I won't get into the details for obvious reasons. At any
rate, if I use a couple of $BIGISP servers, they would be shooting
themselves in the foot to block them anyway. So I think I will win this
particular game.
