OF COURSE I care about the little people. Why, when I finally finish my novel
and it wins a Hugo, I'm gonna be sure to thank all of the little people in my
acceptance speech. In fact, I've already written the speech. I'm gonna say
"I'd like to thank all of the little people... -Thank you, Little People."
;-)
Seriously- the reason I'm here is to teach anyone who wants to learn.
I sound like a jackass to a lot of people- I understand this. And anyone who
isn't interested in learning what I want to teach, or even people who are, who
just aren't interested in learning it from a jackass like me, I understand. If
you fit in either of those categories, please killfile me and go back to doing
whatever it is that you're doing.
Everybody else: I'm here to help. Please read the FAQ, Julian has a good one
and most of the 'newbie questions' are answered in it. Use Google and Deja for
terms you don't understand. Get the Windows Sam Spade or NetDemon or both and
learn how to use them. Find a spam-tracking FAQ. Read alt.spam and
news.admin.net-abuse.email. Don't be afraid to ask questions, but don't be
suprised if someone points you to an answer that you would have found anyway
if you'd done all of the previous.

Huey - I don't speak for my employer. In fact, before dickless over here
shot his ignorant mouth off, who my employer was had never been mentioned
in a public forum. I do not work in the abuse department. CCs of your
larts are unwanted, and will be reported to your ISP as such.
