Same experience with them (but on a different domain), except I was able to
get the "Delete my account" link to work (at least it *said* it deleted my
account).  My reason for deleting was "Unrequested spam from you people!"
(yeah, I know that's a little redundant, but I was pissed).

I sure *don't* recall clicking on any "Send me special offers from time to
time" button (and I *always* look for those), so I can only assume that I/we
was/were opted-in without expressing a desire for said opting option.

Bastards.... :-)
