Sorry if I'm not responding correctly. I'm working with a considerate
user of this newsgroup who is helping me learn how to participate in a
newsgroup (I've been going directly to the board), and I'm closer.

Regarding Pat Willener's post...

>>Please stop it. You are annoying everybody here with your personal attacks.
This newsgroup is about fighting spam, not fighting one another.
If you want to fight, please go somewhere else.

When someone calls me a troll, I will respond. I will also respond each
time a tech-geek makes it more difficult for the rest of us who use
computers to work in the real world by acting like the guy on SNL's
parody of computer people in your office who turns off non-computer
users to those who support them.

A user shared what he thought was a positive note for everyone, and
another, insecure user, replied mocking him ("It probably took him 30
seconds to set up another Hotmail account. Bravo!"). I replied that he
should cut the guy some slack, but evidently did not post the message
correctly. Brian O'Neill, who now has a crush on me, jumped on me, once more.

What is it with computer geeks that they need to constantly mock people
who don't have the level of knowledge they have? This is supposed to be
a board where people can share ideas without fear of abuse.Weren't the
people who helped you improve your computer skills nice to you?

Although I am with Paul that this should be a place for spam
discussions, hassling people doesn't increase particiaption.

BTW, I did not know that Paul spoke for "everybody" on this board. I am
sorry if Paul and Brian are your leaders, and will act accordingly from
now on.
