The trick to getting on the correct thread when I don't post a snurl or
google link is to go to google's advanced groups and paste in the msgid I
left in the earlier post into the special advanced slot for that. When a
thread is "hot" or very current, sometimes I don't post a snurl/google
because google isn't going to have the msgs archived yet [except google is
*amazing* about how fast that happens] so my post on this was assuming the
person looking for it would go directly to their newsserver and spot the
subject.
Google groups advanced lives at
http://www.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en
The thread's google snurl is http://snurl.com/t9n - if you want to play
with the msgid, here it is again: 3E55069C.7903D17A at hotnail.com
There are a lot of threads in nanae about SC, in fact one could make a
project of that.
