I have optonline and their policy, as I stated is they really don't want
to change it but they can.
I think it's a billing thing and or a login thing but if the user
account is not linked to the primary email address, then changing it
shouldn't matter. But if they use the primary as the account ID in the
billing database, that's the problem. I also have a DSL account with
speakeasy. I never even asked them about changing it.
Many ISPs use the primary email address as the login ID.
My thoughts are that the email address should be unrelated to anything in
the user's account, and be as changeable as the wind.
