Speaking of the KKKalendar dudes, I'm trying to prepare myself for an
indepth discussion about the 'process' for the calculation of the
'ecclesiastical' date of Easter. That is, memorize the methodology.
And, no, I don't mean the 'simplistic' - first Sunday /after/ the Full
Moon that occurs on or after the vernal equinox - because the Full Moon
isn't really the full moon but an arbitrary full moon based on some
really weird 'rules' and the vernal equinox isn't really the vernal
equinox but actually March 21.
The hard part is to try to learn the 'rules' for the 'so-called' full
moon - an arbitary construct based on Metonic cycles and the Saros -
partly to solve the problem of wanting to have Easter not be 'messed up'
by the fact that various worldwide longitudes and timezones are going to
have their full moons differently than each other sometimes, and partly
to try to integrate a solar and lunar calendar - which is 'lunacy' as
far as I'm concerned ;-)
