Not sure that one could really spend "hours in the Forums"
(though it does seem I end up doing it all the time) ...
I'm starting that where you posted is actually in a
newsgroup, as compared to the web-based Forums
found at http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?
where you'd have found a number of Pinned items,
including a specific "Guide to Quick-Reporting" which
should have addressed most of your questions.  I'm
not going to post a specific link, as I'd rather
hear from you why you wouldn't/couldn't find / follow
the path to the specific item noted.
