Most phishing attempts include many links to the real site being phished. 
There's that one important link they want you to click that takes you 
elsewhere, not the legit site.  The headers will also indicate the phish 
didn't originate from the target site's space.

For example, Citibank scams will include links to the privacy policy, legal 
notices, etc., but the critical "click here" account log in link will take 
you to a server in China, Korea, Russia, etc.
