Actually, I checked again, they do send you a confirmation. It is a 
"soft" confirmation and it doesn't contain a key code to reply to by the 
recipient. In this way any e-mail address could have entered in their 
mailing list, and this may be the reason why their mailserver gets 
listed in spamcop.
