[SpamCop-List] Sick and tired of reporting with no effect

Since we can't get the Internet bureaucracy to change the addressing scheme
to require "real" FROM addresses how are we ever going to solve the spam
problem?

It's like trying to win the shooting gallery game, where the little targets
keep popping up all over the place ... there are a jillion addresses ... the
spammers just keep moving around.

I think it's time for someone to start blacklisting whole blocks of
addresses, even if there is some "peripheral damage" to innocent ISP's ...
we're in a war, and the guerilla terrorists are winning. Let the innocent
ISP's move to a "safe haven" address block where all the "good guys" live.

Sounds crazy, but sometimes you have to take drastic action to get someone's
attention.

Why is it so hard to get the AMTP guys and all the similar folks to get
together and agree on a method to force "real" addressing?
