Sorry to have to step in here, but what happened to Bob W. is exactly what
could happen to me. White hat host. 1 thousand IP addresses blocked. All
because of one box. It happens because of virtual hosting. You can put 1000
websites/domains on one box, and all of the mail through those domains go
through *one* ip address. All of the domains have their own IP address. One
stupid user - everyone's mail is blocked or tagged by those using bl.spamcop.net.

What I don't understand is the fact that I've reported spam before, and I've
seen a message such as:
'ISP has reported that spam will stop as of such and such date/time...' and it
will not report it. You have to jump through hoops to appeal it. And I've
reported after the ISP has said it will stop. AND it didn't stop. If the bad
formmail script has been taken care of, why can't the IPA be whitelisted as in
the above example? Especially if it's a known white hat like Bob W's and mine?
Somehow, the 419ers get a break, but the good guys have to wait 48?

PS, I'm on pair.com
