Oh yeah -- I didn't want to imply that I don't use an anti-virus program -- 
I use AVG which is free altho I am not sure that updates are available quite
as quickly for free users but maybe they are .. as well as using a hardware
gateway/router and a s/w FW ... as well as reading all mail in text only ...
as well as having the browser so locked down that my family is no longer on
speaking terms with me :-)
