Not all users can do this, and most SpamCop users have at least
one address already in the wild.  In practice we agree, I also
looked for a privacy policy resp. help about the registration,
and finding nothing I left the forum.  Actually I only wanted
to find a new link to the archive (and found it elsewhere).

Other users may have other priorities.  It's really easy to
just invent a working address w.h.a.t.e.v.e.r at mailinator.com :
<URL:http://www.mailinator.com/mailinator/CheckMail.do>

If I _want_ to register (in this case I didn't) my name is
always John Doe with address w.h.a.t.e.v.e.r at mailinator.com
