Maybe.  But as far as he asked "why are there reports about
spamvertized sites to their uplinks at all" it's easy to
answer this.  I don't know the relevant section of the FAQ
by heart, and I doubt that it mentions "SURBL".

My impression was that the OP is a Tech-C / Admin of the
spamvertized site.  And he didn't like the report he got.

Not exactly the moment where I'd write "read the FAQ and
post in spamcop.help".  Especially if I don't even read
this group, and didn't look into the FAQ parts for ISPs
for more than two years.

Hm, didn't I answer this part ?  In fact brewman already
answered it completely, but Erik wasn't convinced, because
his personal spam complaint strategy is different, more on
one line with "quick reporting" / spamtraps / moles.

Is your idea that I should ignore such articles here ?
