Various things cause me to reset my pointers 'all the time' [rather,
sometimes].  Currently I can only see back to Jun 5 here unless I dl a
buncha msg/s or headers.  Of the 6500 msgs now here on the server,
currently I have less than a 1000 hdrs dl/d.

I figgered it would be 'quicker' to grab it from googling the pipermail
up than going for the msg headers;  but I think it would've been quicker
to get the msg hdrs, as it didn't google as well as I expected it to.

I used to keep my newsreader set to grab 1000 headers at a time, then
when I was jumping around like a flea peeking in a buncha differnt ng/s
I trimmed it back to 100.  For this item, I should've just cranked it up
to a thousand and clicked it a couple of times.

Quite a different process than those forums, eh?
