I'm an EL user, and in the past thirteen weeks, Brightmail has caught
between 75-92% of the spams I've received. (That's just the entire
period for which I have data. [1]) I check the filtered mail
periodically, and I don't think it has ever had a false positive.
Combining Brightmail with using various DNSBLs via SpamPal, and my spam
load has dropped to 1-2 per week.
