No I'm not.  Neither am I underestimating the power of greed.  I think the
applicable word is hypocrisy.

I have a friend who operates a small store in NC. (Tobacco is a MAJOR
economic power here)  He is opposed to the use of tobacco,  not on moral
grounds but from the physical damage it does. (He's a Hospice volunteer)  He
could make a considerable profit on the sale of those products but does not
based on an ethical decision.  He does not avoid the issue or the
responsibility by posting a sign 'I do not endorse these products'
