Firefox 0.8 looks stable enough to me - but I'm using Win2K, not any of
the 95/98/ME family of wins so that may cause a different user
experience. In fact, it seems more stable than Mozilla 1.6 (which I've
been fighting for two long days now...)

That being said, while I know some people have been using it as their
default browser since 0.6, I don't think it's ready for prime time.
Major omission is the site navigation toolbar. Mozilla's is not quite
standards-compliant but good (much better than Opera's implementation);
if they don't add it (or a better implementation) back to Firefox I
won't switch to it as my default browser.
