Perhaps "Bud" would like to help contribute to some lawsuits against the
people who are causing his product name to become an epithet, instead of
the people trying to fight them off.

If it wasn't for Spamcop and other spamfighters, spam _would_ be
responsible for the death of email and they'd be hammering us elsewhere.
It could even have gotten to the point where Hormel would have to
conisider changing its product name, because they're NOT going to be able
to stop use of the term.
