If you read the various posts to that and other threads here about what
was really commented in the LangaList in question, there's both a
historical context and a philosophical issue.

First, the LangaList is currently, and has been for quite some time, a
confirmed opt-in newsletter. At some time in the very distant past,
Spambo has had 'problems' with a LangaList subscription, perhaps by
being forge subscribed, perhaps by some kind of joejob, the exact
details are dimmed by the distance to the past. There aren't additonal
descriptions by others in the google archives. There is some old
evidence of a LangaList joe job.

Secondly, Fred Langa has a 'position' against blocklists which he
broadcasts and rants from time to time, including and more especially
spamcop's.

Thirdly, the representation at the beginning of this thread is *not* an
accurate representation of the content of the recent LangaList. That is
more accurately described in my thread here 'Langa publicity again' and
in my rebuttals to this thread's content.
