Quoted printable is a 'paradox' and unfortunately it underscores some
compatibility problems for OE. If the only 'two' people communicating
in a ng are both using OE, then they get along because they can handle
each others QP. But, they're not the only people, and OE's QP is
'different' from other similar formats for other newsreaders and is not
the 'standard' configuration used for citing and such.

I 'fixed' your QP post by citing you with OE + QuoteFix - that way if
someone was going to comment on your message, I would hope ;-) that they
would use my cite of you, rather than your original, because my cite of
your post would 'work better' for them citing than your original.

If I had just used OE to cite your message with QuoteFix disabled, 'we'
would have stayed in OE QP. Well, that's not exactly true. Your part
wouldn't have been cited properly, and it would have been unwrapped
during my editing, but then when I sent it, it would have gotten wrapped
to my line length. If I were going to put some 'cite' in there to
clarify what you said, I would have to just put the mark at the
beginning of your par.
