Yes.

It's early days for this site just now, so the articles are being
"submitted" by ... me. As it stands, this (area of) the site is more of a
Weblog than anything. Eventually I'll have clearly defined boundaries
between editorials and news, but for now it is mostly just shovelware.

I agree. As the articles expire they will be archived. I'll probably end
up moving the current crop of "News" articles into the "Opinion"
(editorial) archives.
