But we are speaking of different things, you are talking about law and I am
talking about something else, common sense I suppose, natural law? The
difference between "rights" and tolerance?
Companies use disclaimers for the wrong reason, "slippery when wet",
"contents may be hot", "do not stand above this step", to keep from being
sued.
The Government does it as well when I get fined for "Violation of Basic
Rule" when there is noone around (and the speed it perfectly reasonable for
me). Though I think a lawer could've won that case, I shouldn't need one. A
different example, but I feel it's the same idea.
