spamcop email service, I think, filters for viruses and doesn't deliver
them.  Of course, if the virus is new, then it takes a while for the av
filter to identify it.

spamcop reporting service simply will not let you report a virus; then
you know.  If you use quick reporting, I am not sure what happens -
whether you can find the info to report on your own or if it bolixes
everything up.

If you use an anti-virus program, most of them identify the virus as it
comes into your mailbox.  Or you can look at the attachment symbol and
only look at those unsolicted email that have an attachment to check
for virmen.
