It's backwards to me too. This is not Jeopardy, this a newsgroup.
Unless everyone agrees to a consistent rule, after a while it is
impossible to read a thread with any semblance of intelligence where half
the replies are top-posted the other half bottom-posted.
Bottom-posting is more logical to most people who listen before they speak.
