No kidding. That, and there are regional dialects. Nobody outside
Oregon, Washington and British Columbia seems to be able to pronounce
any of the local names, for example. (Which can be terrably confusing
at times, some tourists asking for directions seem to be able to
pronounce names each in their own unique way)
