They wouldn't be able to 'draw' a map to the mall, but they would be
able to draw a floorplan of the entire mall, with locations of all of
the stores and the floorplans of some of those stores.

Or maybe not.  Maybe they would be oblivious to the mall floorplan
except for their favorite store.

Somebody haul their kids into the room and give them a piece of paper
and see what they can do.
