[SpamCop-List] Out of date spam (that isn't)

Hi,
is this happening to anyone else?

In the past week or so, I've been getting some spams and trying to 
report them the instant they arrive - but it turns out that according to 
its apparent date, it's actually 10-14 days old.  This isn't happening 
to any of the non-spam mails I get each day.

I'm not techie enough to figure this out, but I was wondering if it's 
just some issue with my ISP, or if spammers are finding a way to forge 
dates and beat spamcop reporting.
