[SpamCop-List] Asian spam question

Hi Guys 'n' gals,

Just a matter of curiousity here; nothing earth shaking. There
is a particular Asian spam I get reglularly every few days that's
"interesting" and I wondered whether anyone here might have any
foresight.

IE6, XP Pro, SP2

The body of the spam always has the same asian characters in it,
and the same URL link. so it's all for the spamvertised site.
I've been getting them a little over a month now.
When I report them thru spamcop, via email, the list of
"report to"s is short. My OE always stops and asks me whether I
want to send Unicode, yadda yadda and I"ve beel clicking to send
it "as is", per some advice I got on this group when I first
asked about it.

This time, just for grins, I specified it as Unicode, and SC
came back with what looks like a much better reporting list,
albeit all but threee are dev/nulls.

-- Is the larger report list because I sent Unicode? Or did SC
just improve the reporting?

Here's the tracking URL if anyone wants to look at it. I
don't -think- there is any personal identity in it. Thought
maybe sneakemail had something to do with it, but the spam
sneakemail addresses are none of mine - I checked.

The report also says:
"Spam Headerconverting header from usa.net bizarro format"
What does that mean?

Also, about half way down the tech details, there is a note:
"Message is 38 hours old"
Is that meaningful? Dunno why it's there.

I'm no spam guru by any means, so if anyone thinks there is
anything I can do further to help kill this spammer, I'll
seriously consider it. Its stupidity is surpassed only by its
persistance.

Regards,

Pop

have nothing to say, that's what I usually say!
