And the police patrol the highways every day.  It may take constant
vigilance, but IMHO, the internet will no longer be attractive to
the spammer sometime.  There will probably be other slimy types who
will do something else, but because the internet is built on
'netiquette' there will eventually be too many people who
understand manners and will overwhelm the bad guys.
