I do hope that you're mirroring them locally (by rsync or whatever) -- 
making a query to each of those lists for every incoming message is 
probably consuming a fair bit of resources on your end and on the 
DNSbl's end as well.

To answer Matt's question, I've used NJABL's Dynablock -- 
http://www.njabl.org/dynablock.html -- to great effectiveness.
