It's not stopping you from jack squat, the postmaster in charge of that mail
server is.  I'm curious what makes you think it's preventing you from
receiving given that you had shown is a SMTP 550 error and no headers to
help us troubleshoot, just wild accusations.

As far as legal rights go, you're a guest on any system to connect to.  If
the person running that system doesn't want you to use it for any reason,
guess what?  You don't get to use it, end of story.
