choir.  I, too, have had problems with 'losing' mail, but they
happened with content filters.  I would much prefer that I /knew/
that my email didn't go through and who to contact about it than to
lose an email in the spam folder that I really wanted to get.
There are other ways of communicating and also other ways to get
email.

I haven't read enough of this thread to know what exactly was your
problem, but I would like email to be something that is useful to
me - which it isn't when there is spam and spam filters.  At least
with rejection at the server (possible with blocklists), one knows
when there is a problem.  And with whitehat admins, reporting to
them gets it fixed.
