Although the point is moot since the OP doesn't want to discuss it
any longer, IMHO, despite the reference to spammers, it is a
theoretical, political discussion that belongs in .social, not
spamcop.  This ng should be devoted to practical problems about
spam that can be solved now.  There might be some other discussion
on why a particular course of action is 'good' or 'bad' because of
ethical considerations.  And the occasional 'have to share this'
moment or news which people usually identify clearly so that busy
people can skip if not in the mood. (technically those kinds of
posts should go in .social, but since this is a self moderating
group, .social doesn't want the 's' word mentioned and, in general,
people in this ng apparently are able to tolerate an occasional
aside that is not strictly business.  In a moderated group, the
objections of a few members to the 's' word would be ignored, I
imagine, and spamcop would be strictly business and .social for
everything else.)
