I suspect that the 419 spammers have found the the people on the 
genealogy mailing list are good prospects.  These mailing lists are 
archived and easily searched.  I use sneakemail (a different address 
for each list) on all of the mailing lists I belong to and get a lot 
of 419 spam to the email addresses used on the genealogy lists.  Just 
a few weeks ago I changed the sneakemail address on one of the 
genealogy lists and had the new address spammed (419) within a week.
