I'll see what I can do in that respect; it's sometimes a little awkward,
as the computer that I post to the newsgroups from is not the same one
that I'm actually handling the spam from.

Neither, actually - as near as I can tell, what's happening is that the
_new_ spam is triggering the response 'SpamCop has accepted 1 email for
processing', but it's RE-PARSING the _old_ spam (*including the old
headers*) - in other words, SpamCop's RESPONSE is correct - but for the
WRONG material that it's working with. As I said, putting the new spam
through the web form doesn't give me a problem. It's only when I
forward that spam to submit.*@spam.spamcop.net that it happens, and that
not consistently.

The sequence that is happening:

July 2: RECEIVED SPAM-A. Submitted via email. Got response.
Went to website. PARSED SPAM-A. REPORTS SENT.
...
Aug 23: RECEIVED SPAM-Q. Submitted via email. Got response.
Went to website. PARSED SPAM-A. REPORTS NOT SENT (Too Old).
        Cut-Pasted SPAM-Q into web-form. PARSED SPAM-Q. REPORTS SENT.
